FedEx Donates to Development of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

On September 5, 2006, FedEx Corp. donated $1 million to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Foundation, helping the group raise necessary funds to erect a memorial to honor the civil rights leader on the National Mall in Washington D.C.
