FedEx Brings its “A-Game” to Operation Blessing Every Year

The Washington Redskins players and more than 300 volunteers from FedEx and the local community arrived at FedExField on November 21, 2006, to help prepare and distribute 400,000 pounds of food to less fortunate area residents in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  More than 750 bags of groceries and turkeys were delivered with help from the FedEx Special Delivery truck while another 5,000 Prince George’s County residents came to FedExField to receive goods in person, all part of the annual “Operation Blessing” program.
