FedEx Supports City Harvest’s Skip Lunch Fight Hunger Campaign

For the past five years, City Harvest, New York City's only food rescue organization, has raised money from thousands of corporations and individuals in New York City through its Skip Lunch Fight Hunger campaign. The unique one-day initiative asks individuals to donate what they would normally spend on lunch to help feed New York City's hungry kids and their families. This year FedEx was proud to be a sponsor of the campaign and also donate the shipping of program materials that were sent to hundreds of participants throughout the area, helping cut down on overhead costs for the organization.  By the end of the campaign, more than $440,000 had been raised, making this the most successful “Skip Lunch” ever!
