This Council of the Americas is a U.S. business organization that promotes policy and commercial interests within Latin America.  For over 40 years, the Council has been a leading public and private forum, consisting of sector dialogue, along with exchange and analysis on the Americas.  The Council regularly hosts Presidents, cabinet ministers, central bankers, government officials and leading exports in economics, politics, business and finance.  This year FedEx Chief Economist, Gene Huang, will be speaking at the Council of the Americas Conferences in Sao Paolo, Brazil, August 2^nd, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina, August 7^th.  Huang will deliver remarks about the global and regional economies, and how they affect the growth and development of South America.
