Today, Mr. Edoardo Croce (Centre), Councillor for Transport and Environment of Milan Municipality hosted a press conference to announce the launch of 10 hybrid-electric commercial vehicles in Milan and Turin, Italy for 6 to 9 months before joining FedEx Express European fleet.

Mr Croce praised FedEx and Iveco for working together to find solutions to the environmental challenges facing us today. FedEx has been actively working with Iveco, the Italian truck manufacturer, to develop this new hybrid technology for light commercial vehicles.

On hand to represent FedEx were John Formisano (Left), Vice President, Global Vehicles, and Renato Carrara, MD, Southern Europe Operations. Representing Iveco at the press conference was Paolo Monferino, CEO of Iveco (Right).
